How do I create an account?

Click on "Register" button, fill in your basic details including name, email, phone number, and current location. Once registered, you can complete your profile with work experience, education, and skills to improve your chances of getting hired.
How do I apply for a job?

Browse jobs, click on any job that interests you, review the details, and click "Apply Now". You'll need to fill in your details and upload your resume. Your application will be sent directly to the employer.
Can I apply without a resume?

A resume is required for most applications. However, you can create a simple resume using Microsoft Word or download free templates online. Include your name, contact details, education, work experience, and skills.
How can I track my applications?

Login to your account and go to "My Applications" in your dashboard. You can see all your applications and their current status (Pending, Reviewed, Shortlisted, or Rejected).
What is the WhatsApp feature?

Many employers provide their WhatsApp number for direct communication. After viewing a job, you can contact the recruiter directly on WhatsApp to inquire about the position or follow up on your application.
How do job alerts work?

Set up job alerts in your dashboard by specifying your preferences (job type, location, salary range). You'll receive notifications when new jobs matching your criteria are posted.

How do I post a job?

Register as an employer, complete your company profile, and click "Post Job". Fill in the job details including title, description, requirements, salary, and location. Your job will be reviewed and published within 24 hours.
How much does it cost to post a job?

We offer both free and paid posting options. Free posts remain active for 30 days. Premium posts get featured placement, longer duration, and additional visibility. Contact us for pricing details.
How do I review applications?

Login to your employer dashboard and go to "Applications Received". You can view all applications, download resumes, and update the status (Shortlisted, Rejected, etc.). Contact details of applicants are provided for follow-up.
How do I verify my company?

Upload your company registration documents, GST certificate, or business license in your company profile. Our team will review and verify your account within 2-3 business days. Verified companies get a badge and higher visibility.
Technical Support
I forgot my password. What should I do?

Click on "Forgot Password" on the login page. Enter your registered email address, and we'll send you a password reset link. Follow the instructions in the email to create a new password.
Can I change my email address?

For security reasons, email addresses cannot be changed directly. Please contact our support team at support@backbonejobs.com with your registered email and new email address. We'll assist you with the change.
How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings > Account Settings and click "Delete Account". Please note this action is permanent and all your data including applications and saved jobs will be deleted.
